What do you learn in mindfulness training?

■ Increase your mental fitness and resilience.
■ Less in your head and more in your body.
■ Better and earlier recognition of stress, sleep, anxiety and burnout complaints and deal with them more skillfully
■ To better relax, focus and concentrate.
■ Worry less.
■ In a mild and open way, look at entrenched behavior patterns or obstacles that you encounter in your life and respond more consciously to this instead of to autopilot.
■ Learn to recognize and monitor your limits.


Structure of the training

In the eight week mindfulness training MBSR (Mindful Based Stress Reduction) every week a different theme is treated.
You train 2.5 hours a week in a small group of up to 10 people. After the sixth meeting there is an extra practice day.
During the training you also practice at home every day. The positive effects of mindfulness training have been scientifically proven.


€ 325 (incl. 21 % btw for individuals)
€ 250 (incl. 21 % btw for students)
€ 400 (excl. 21 % btw if you follow the training through your employer)

If you have difficulty paying because of a low income, please contact us to see if a payment or discount scheme is possible. In addition, the training is tax deductible for many people as training costs.

The trainer

The mindfulness training is given by certified (cat.1) mindfulness trainer Gerard Kleijn. In addition to his activities as a mindfulness trainer, he is also active as a musician, teacher and conductor and he organizes special mindfulness training for performing artists.Gerard is a member of the Dutch Association for Mindfulness Trainers in the Netherlands and Flanders.

Mindfulness practice Amsterdam aims to offer mindfulness practice in a personal, accessible, non-sticky, directly applicable way for the widest possible audience.
